Di: Ava

Life as a dancer is incredibly fun and fulfilling.. and at times, can be uncomfortable. Here are 17 lol-worthy moments that I’ve experienced or witnessed.

I searched up for a thread like this because I used to be really big into anime for a few years and now that I’m a few years into being an adult it just seems so cringe to me aswell. For me, sometimes when I’m going out and being overstimulated, I feel.. somewhat vulnerable? Like I could get to a point where my emotions overtake me and my actions aren’t thought out. When I make these out-of-place decisions, they don’t feel grounded, and I do feel like I’m a bit cringe/embarrassing. Taking some time out to

Why do i cringe at romantic stuff? (17m) and i find most romantic stuff cringy. I just feel uncomfortable doing these things, even as simple as saying „i love u“ , cuddling , hugging , saying „how r u“ or „imiss u“ etc. I remember someone from my social media who always post about „love“ and i always cringe so i unfriend her. That’s why I do what I do – because I’ve lived that shift and I know how liberating it feels to experience lasting change And I’m sharing this not to say “if I can do it, so should you”, but to let you know that change really is possible. We tech professionals tend to be more suspicious of social media than the general public, probably because we know what can and does go into the algorithms behind the scenes. Most people just have no idea where their data goes or how it’s used, and I honestly don’t understand that level of not giving a shit. Reply reply lahope • Reply reply more replyMore replies

In my case it’s when someone is petting (patting?) the head of his/her partner just like you would do with a dog. ? Cringe level drives me on the verge of pure anger ?. Anime is different in my experience, including in this thread, that when someone criticizes it the response is „you don’t get the culture man!“ Like a person who doesn’t find those tropes enjoyable is lacking in cultural knowledge so they are just an idiot and thus do not have a valid criticism. Now tik-tok video dancing is absolutely cringe, I’ll give you that one. To be fair, I hated dancing when I was around college age as well, but it’s actually really easy if you just stop caring about what other people may think.

It’s a dumb song as a whole, which makes me question what idiots stream it so much. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a Baby Shark-like scenario because parents play it for their 4 year old toddlers to dance to because of the high-pitched noises and reference to dancing, and monkeys, and dancing monkeys. All I will say is it’s a dumb song.

Not the act of dancing itself, but rather seeing other people/myself dance. As a musician, I’ve often found the urge to move, dance, jump, whatever. And I do. I think it’s something very natural. But, seeing humans move their body to the sound of music makes me cringe everytime. I’m not talking Tik-tok dancing, but in general, to any kind of music and dance. Anyone feels like that?

I’m sure ya’ll have heard or seen the TikTok going viral right now about a girl dancing in front of pancakes at IHop. I love seeing videos of people acting dorky and funny.
