Why Is My Redstone Not Connecting?

Di: Ava

Perhaps explain which of these pictures are the working ones (with spoilers!) and show us this not-working door without any of the extra blocks (the blocks that aren’t actually required for the redstone). Perhaps then we/I will be able to help you more, at the moment I do not see a picture of not-working redstone that I can actually tell anything from. –Thanks! Hier sollte eine Beschreibung angezeigt werden, diese Seite lässt dies jedoch nicht zu.

Edit: Resolved, thank you LeoWWS When the button is pressed it inverts the redstone torch which when it comes back will fire the dispenser. The second My hopper doesn’t work. I placed a chest, place a hopper above it, and threw items into it, but it got stored in the hopper and not in the chest, how do i make it go to the chest? Holy Stone Problems And Fixes 1. Problem: My drone won’t take off! Solution: Check your battery and propellers! Sometimes, your drone might refuse to take off because the battery is low or not connected properly. Make sure your battery is fully charged and securely connected to the drone.

Can someone explain why my hoppers aren’t connecting to the

red stone not triggering redstone lamp. unclear why but the redstone ...

My plan here was that the switch for a light would use a sticky piston to push a block that had redstone dust on it leading to a lamp, and that this would cut the connection and turn off the lamp. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that pushing the block will cause the redstone dust on it to pop off and turn into an item. Has anyone else been experiencing the issue of problems with the redstone contacts? When making an elevator with redstone links attached to them stopping the rope at each link it would send the signal to quickly or slowly. This means that when going down it would often go halfway down to the desired level and then the signal would send to the clutch making it go to the block

The only hopper not working is the one directly above the dispenser. The other hoppers place the items into that one hopper but the items from that hopper don’t drop down into the dispenser. If I place items into the dispenser they correctly dispense though. Not sure whether to post this here or in survival. Just got back to MC in last week or so after a year off and decided to try out some new auto farms. Only problem is that any new Ethoniam hopper clock i’ve made since can not be made to function. I have tried in both MPS (remote server) and SPS modes and although I’ve built dozens of these before they don’t work

I cannot seem to toggle redstone links in survival between transmitter and receiver. I am using an empty hand while right clicking and sneaking. It works just fine in creative. EDIT: I didn’t know both hands had to be empty

You are not powering the last block you placed. Point a repeater into and rearrange your redstone dust line to power the repeater. Hello everyone, I have been searching for an answer online and the only answer I find is „use a repeater“ but I am doing that already. The redstone just won’t attach itself to the sticky piston, only to the first one. Does someone maybe know why? Failed to execute ‚json‘ on ‚Response‘: Unexpected end of JSON input

  • Why does my redstone not connect to the sticky piston?
  • Why doesnt the redstone signal keep going down?

I have a problem with my redstone circuit. It’s mostly a straight line with redstone repeaters at regular intervals. At one end is an on/off lever and the other end is a piston. When I flip the switch at a certain point the redstone just stops. Part of the circuit is on and glowing, the other part is off. How do I fix this? I’ve double checked and the circuits are reaching far enough. I am making a display which is 4×5 and the red stone repeats which are used to extend the current from redstone wires stay on when the power source is turned off. Please help!

I have tried to have redstone repeaters, to keep my redstone chain going, but it doesn’t work. How do I make it work and why dosen’t it work? I’ve been trying to mess with Redstone circuitry for the first time *cough*, and for some reason my Redstone Repeaters don’t do anything. I can get it to sta

Hey guys i was wondering why sticky pistons don’t stick to others when elevated? so i tried to make an elevator by sticking multiple pistons to each other and placing a redstone torch beside the pistons so they would activate when pushed, but it doesn’t work because when i turn it off they just stay suspended in mid air. Im a beginner to redstone but i do understand a

Lol my sister had the exact same problem, with the same farm You can also place the two redstone and the stone brick you had just one block to the right, that I have these redstone contacts at each stopping point, however, when the carriage makes contact with the redstone contacts, that contacts that send the signal to the gearshift remain on even when the carriage’s contact is nowhere near. I have to break the contact with my wrench and place it back down in order for the contact to shut off.

Perhaps the easiest way to power a piston (sticky or not) is to power a block adjacent to it. You could place a block on any of the 4 sides of the piston, and have redstone wire run over top of this block. Note that the block itself should be beside the base of

I tried to play Minecraft by myself, but I think i have some problem on my Minecraft: The redstone engines, which i use for powering Fillers and Quarries, does not work. I tried to use Levers beside the engine, it does not work I tried to change the Levers with Redstone Torches, it does not work too Since you use Wool I might suggest changing to a different block type for your redstone lines like bricks, that way you can use upsidedown slabs/stairs which will eliminate this quasi powered piston from not retracting. Or use stained glass, though you need a solid block to ensure the torch turns off when the redstone line is powered Is the redstone behind the observers on glass? Glass doesn’t conduct redstone power so it won’t power the pistons.

Thanks! It really worked!! Now all I have to do is to hide my redstone circuitry Can you give me a link to a good redstone tutorial? You’re welcome, but sadly, I didn’t know about a good tutorial about redstone, I’m just seeing an video and try some experiments, after I’m know what the purpose is, I’m going to check out some redstone creation

Shot at 2011-09-16 Shot at 2011-09-16 from what i can see its not stopping the torches like its supposed to this is my 5th time trying to do this iv started from scratch like 4 times now and iv watched a vid iunno if im just a baddie or what but yea (iv only messed around with redstone nothing to hardcore) Last edited by boberd: Sep 16, 2011 Bedrock player here, redstone works on glass. You can actually make a line of redstone vertically using alternating glass blocks (like a checker-pattern) because as a transparent block, the redstone will connect across the corners of the glass blocks, if that makes sense.

This is like the worst Redstone clock. It is wasting space, uses Redstone Dust which is the most laggy thing in Redstone and it produces unnecessary Light updates. I would suggest to use Observer clock ideally with on/off mechanism.

If the Redstone link is on the spawner, and the spawner is running, and the Redstone link does not have a glow on the end of its antenna, then it must be getting a redstone signal from somewhere else. You didn’t place the spawner on top of a redstone block, did you? I’m thinking I’m not the only person who has noticed this. When you place a sticky piston facing upwards (Only upwards) with a redstone piston on top it won’t power by itself. Normal, right? If you go and activate the piston with an alternative source it will push the redstone block up. Also normal? If you deactivate your alternative source of redstone power the piston
