Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game, probably my favorite of all video games, but I can understand why a lot of people disliked it. For me, the „flaws“ the game had never really bothered me. Wind Waker Ganondorf was prepared to kill children by the end of the game, for example. Link and Tetra obviously don’t know about the curse of Demise, but they do know that the sea is what they live on, and destroying that would be pretty bad for their homes.

I like concept of Wind Waker, butt he art style was not really mine. Twilight Princess, but it would be better with the concept of Wind Waker, Twilight Princess a bit confusing. So if you want a Wind Waker style game without the Zelda trappings, Nintendo can dig into its forgotten IP and bring back its original Zelda-like and make a new StarTropics. It would work like Wind Waker. In the child timeline I understand, its because he never actually got to the point where he would transform into ganon, hut why is he not ganon in the timeline

I believe that BotW is the first Zelda to actually give a „lore“ reason for why Link doesn’t talk. I’ll leave you with a couple quotes though: “We named the protagonist Link because he connects people together,” -Shigeru Miyamoto. To me, this suggests that Link doesn’t talk because he is the conduit between that world and ours.

Wind Waker is very nice to play but sailing takes to long and the overworld is lacking. Having an overworld that is mostly completely empty while being bothersome to traverse is not a great idea.
