Last week, ATACs Chair and Vice Chair were invited to join the first of several meetings with the Glasgow Host City stakeholders, to discuss the plans for fans returning to Hampden for the Euro2020 matches, and some of the plans and mitigations in place. The meeting was attended by those on the Glasgow Host City team, SFA security, Police Scotland, and The 36 hour free travel pass for ticket holders makes that particularly appealing. Sons of Scotland Tartan Army won the ATAC Sevens in Edinburgh today, defeating Doonhamers in the final. WEBATA and ETA made the semi-finals. We were delighted that Scotland legend Colin Hendry presented the trophy, after a very successful day. Thank you to all clubs and players for taking part and to ETA and Loony Alba for hosting. The ATAC Chair and Vice-Chair attended a meeting with a two FCDO staff today about Consular Communications ahead of this year’s Euros. Present were the Euros Liaison Officer at the Berlin Embassy who is assigned to Scotland’s Euro messaging, and the Consul to Ukraine who is assisting with the Scotland Consular communications for Euro 2024.

The Association of Tartan Army Clubs (ATAC) have been liaising with the Embassy in Astana and the local Mayors office re transportation on match day in Kazakhstan.
