The game has been designed and optimised for DirectX 11. Optimising the game for DirectX 12 would require changes to the base code of the game, which is unlikely to happen since the game released almost 3 years ago.

Game worked great for 3 months. havent played it in a while. computer updated to win 11. played Planet zoo on High. i have a 3060 ti so it easilly handles it. i even tried lowering resulution but still wont start. any idea?? Being able to swap between drawing coasters and riding them in VR seems like an obvious way to boost both VR platform buy in, and demand for this game from VR consumers. Like, I might not buy this game anytime soon, but I would consider buying it for a friend who has a VR headset if it were supported.

Does any one know where the workshop files are located in Planet coaster? That would be awesome to be able to ride on your own coasters in your own park, or even walk around, or even build the parks in VR 🙂 Hope something from that will be there

Would buy the game, but there is no controller support tag on the shop page and in the forum I can find old threads that mention that controllers only work for free view and others say it doesn’t work, while some people say that everything works since a update. I forgot to mention a major thing Planet Coaster never had, having an option to make seats face backwards on rollercoasters as seen in real life. As for Planet Coaster 2 in general, we have had rollercoasters and animals already, it’ll most likely be water parks next. I could be entirely wrong and it contains those 3 key features.

How do I take the hub out of the game, like, like a photo mode, where only the image of the game is? So it’s thought that the reason Planet Coaster does not start in Linux is because of Denuvo (thanks, panther). Thankfully, EAC is slowly working on supporting Proton and I know that Valve is talking with BattleEye (IIRC). To hide supports, If u have an existing coaster then u have to go in edit mode, click on each section of it then take off the check mark under “ride supports”.

So, since there’s a new console version of the game; does that mean PC will get Partial/Full Controller Support? I prefer Keyboard/Mouse regardless, but I’m sure there’s some who would prefer a controller on PC.
