I plan on getting a mk4 with the mmu3 soon but before I get the mmu3 I need to know. How easy is it to learn and do you guys like it?

I added a profile in PrusaSlicer, for the MK4 MMU3, and it turns out there is only for the 0.4 nozzle. For the MK3.5 there are profiles for thinner and thicker nozzles. Thought it might be worth mentioning, I was able to get prints upwards of 50 tool changes without intervention using PLA and TPU just fine on the mmu3 X mk4. Slight modifications to the generic flex profile from the input shaper templates did the trick.

As an mk4 owner looking forward to receiving an mmu3, I eagerly refresh the shipping table daily. As of 16 hours ago (the last shipping table update), it still read: „Original Prusa MMU3 MMU2->MMU3 upgrade kits for MK4 – shipping will start in November. MMU3 for the MK4 is still in the testing process. We have been testing the MK4 version rigorously for the last two months. RE: MK4 + enclosure + MMU3 Still missing are a quick connector for the PSU (from Prusa for the MK3S+) and a display quick connector (from the community for the MK3S+). But you can make it work. I don’t know if an enclosure assembly manual from Prusa for the MK4 has appeared in the meantime, but I could manage with the manual for the MK3S+.

MK3S to MK3S+ and mmu3upg for MK4 I have been given a free mmu2 to mmu3 upgrade kit (for mk4) and thought I might upgrade my old trustworthy MK3S with mmu2 to an MK3S+ with mmu3. I have the red IR filament sensor already and soon also the superPINDA and shorter ptfe hotend tube. The extruded have been modified for the MMU2 and thus MMU3 First Print This is Prusa MMU3 on my MK3S+. I ordered the kit within a few minutes of it being available. Assembly was OK. Some of the instructions need a little tweaking. My first print was this sheep in PETG. Technically it’s 4 colors – white, grey, terracotta, and pistachio. Obviously I’m getting a lot of stringing because of the travel between the object and I have the MK3+ and the Prusa enclosure. I thought about the MMU2 but it looked like it had many problems. The filament path shoots out to the rear PTFE tubes and down to the buffer, then into the MMU3. 3 full doors for full access.
