The Covington based Behringer-Crawford Museum recently put out an interesting face to face chat with Futuro owner Rob Detzel as part of their „Curator’s Chat“ series of interviews. The interview, embedded below, which was originally posted to Youtube 010324 recaps the history of this Futuro and, while it is not new information, it is certainly great to have the opportunity to Covington, at one time was a manufacturing center that supplied all this portion of the country with shoes, clothing, furniture and bricks. It far surpassed Ft. Worth both in population and significance.
