Stressed Flamingos? :: Planet Zoo General Discussions

I started a new zoo in franchise mode for the new Americas Animal Pack and all of a sudden all my animals that are not confident by nature are getting uber stressed in their habitats. For example I had aardvarks and meerkats in a habitat together the space is way over what they need, three shelters, guests can only walk along one side of the habitat, all other Hi, Is there an updated list anywhere of which animals can accommodate guests visiting their enclosures directly without panic or stress? I’ve been working through some through trial and error, but if anyone can give me a leg-up, I’d appreciate it. I was hoping for a deer park, but all the guests kept running away from them. :/ I know of the peafowl, lemurs, capuchins, I have 3 adult bison, 1 baby bison and 2 pronghorn. It seems that the pronghorn’s are getting stressed out and I’m really not sure why, all of the stats look good other than stress. Is it possible that they get stressed from being overwhelmed by bison numbers? Because of that one bar, the animals welfare is at 0-2 % I really hope they add an update that provides more info on

Apart from Indian Peafowl, I recently discovered by accident the Japanese Macaques, whose walk-in enclosure in my first try at a franchise zoo is proving wildly popular and profitable.
Has anyone else done (or started) this scenario? Just curious what people are doing to manage the stress level of the Lemurs. I love the giant walkthrough habitat that the zoo starts with and really don’t want to ruin it by having to add ugly one-way glass structures throughout it, but Do Not Disturb Signs alone are not cutting it.
Works at least great with the Flamingos that are near the Entrance of my Zoo. I’ve placed the Billboards that advertise the other Enclosures at the Exit of the Entrance Building that leads into the Park. I am really dissapointed with time in this game. I loved playing Zoo Tycoon, where 1 Year felt like forever and I was really looking forward to see little babies. But Planet Zoo is too fast for me. I have too much money too fast and no time to build something, while Im constantly busy selling offspring I really hope for an update on this. Is anyone else also uncomfortable

My zoo runs fine until I add flamingos or peacocks then my food cost spikes more then if I added another charnivore exhibit.
This is some sort of crazy game breaking bug. My keeper spent all his time making food in the keeper hut and let all of my flamingos die. I had plenty of food dishes out, yes, the right ones for flamingos. He spent days prepping food and I lost all my Flamingos, I’m so mad I don’t want to play this game anymore. I have to disagree a little with this statement, Flamingos and Lemurs are described as allowing guests to enter the habitat and these both struggle immensely with stress I have found.

Hey everyone, if got a problem with the stress level of the peguins and lemurs in my zoo. I’ve got over 5500 visitors but they are normaly spread out. The penguins: there are over 180 (had over 240 and reduce them a bit), have more than enough space including a selfbuild hiding place. Visitors can watch them diving and a bit from a path a both. A lot of them just get Why do animals not seek out shelter when they’re stressed? I have springbok and they are constantly stressed but I have to pick them up and move them to shelter. I know its because there is a viewpoint above the enclosure but its a big enclosure and they insist on going near this even when
I decided to list some of my mistakes. (or just doing the best I can Until I stumble upon the right way) Maybe another newbie will read these and get saved some frustrations. 1: Placing a null barrier inside of the non barrier fencing or rocks, thus leaving a small gap. I have had my greater flamingos set off escape alarms when they are really still penned in. They just moved to a Hi all, my flamingos are constantly stressed and i can’t seem to fix it. I already placed ’no disturb‘ signs which usually fixes the problem. Not in this case. They have enough plants and shelter. For the moment i am trying the ambient sound speakers. I read they help with reducing stress. Can I have four Greater Flamingos and every single one of them are just warping through ANY barrier. Concrete, brick, even electric fence. Any fix for this issue?
I have constant warnings that my animals are at low satisfaction because of stress. They allegedly have no place to hide. But I have built more than enough shelters but they do not recognize the space available and the shelter-meter seems to glitch around between 0 and 90%. Is this a bug? What am I missing? What are the factors that affect an animals stress levels? I use to believe that it was how many guests they can see outside their habitat, but I’ve
Hi, I’m new to this game and just working through the tutorials. I’m currently in the Asian Panda Park and my tapirs and okapi have gone wild. I don’t think any of them have given birth, but they’re suddenly all incredibly stressed out. They’re information shows „severe social welfare concerns“ but the number of animals in their group is at 100%?

So, over time I haven’t had any social issues. However now I have 3 animal species that are „stressed“ due to „social issues“ but it’s because their friends are in a damn shelter. For example, my Aardvark female is freaking out and I have protesters on me because she’s „socially stressed“ but the male is just sleeping in his den. Springboks, same2 are
I have a tortoise habitat where i decided to put a guest gate and a short path. The guests are loving it, but the animals become stressed. Any tips to make this work? I had snow leopards that were stressed despite the entire enclosure being surrounded by high walls that were either opaque or one-way glass (yes, it was facing the right way). They chill after lunch. If your animals are getting stressed it’s from too many people looking at them. You don’t need to rearrange your paths. Simply make an area they can hide in. When my flamingos were panicking because of being a walk in exhibit I was forced to rearrange the exhibit and build an area where they could run to and hide when they got stressed out. Yes it blocked them from view for the
Anyone have any tips because recently my Antelope have been getting stressed out and trying to hide constantly but the game doesn’t really tell me what their being stressed out by, I’ve just making smaller windows, bigger exhibits a lot of things. Yes, they can be used to advertise Enclosures or Shops. I’ve used it in one of the old Entrances of my Zoo to get the Guests away from the Flamingos to make them less stressed. It worked really good. I’ll just need to find out what’s the best Way to do it for my new Entrance
My flamingos sometimes (especially the babies) get stressed because it’s a walk-in exhibit and they just slowly walk into the shelter and hide and the stressed level decreases. Peafowls are good starting Animals. You can let guests walk through the their Area and get some easy donations. You can also use Flamingos but they get stressed by large crowds in my experience.
