An improved gamepad that utilizes all the features of a keyboard. Simpler Dice Poker mechanics. Both Playstation and XBOX/Generic controllers.
I adjusted every Deadzone to be 0.000000 for the Gamepad and increased the Gamepad_LeftX and Gamepad_LeftY Sensitivity to 2.0. This might be a bit high, depending on your Gamepad and I tested it on a recently purchased PS5 DualSense Gamepad. By default, the Left Stick needs a good amount of input, before you start walking or running.

This game have a launcher, in options I can change some (not all just like 40%) buttons. But when I click „start the game“ and finally Im in „lobby“ I cant swap keyboard to gamepad. x360c, recognized my gamepad, because I checked it in Witcher 3, and in this game The Witcher 2 has a option to select if you would like to play with a keyboard or a controller. If your profile is based on controller and the option was set to keyboard it would not work.
How to improve your gamepad experience By Nismo. This guide’s purpose is to help people who are having issues playing WRC, and potentially other games, with a gamepad. After reading this guide you should have a good grasp on the issues you can encounter in many games and how to setup your controller settings according to YOUR driving I did not like using external utilities but it is necessary for a gamepad controlled enviroment. Now I am in love with antimicro and my 360 gamepad in my living room pc. This guide is for a Witcher profile. On a 360 gamepad: left stick controls movement (you can also walk if you have Flash mod), right stick behaves as mouse, dpad left draws steel sword (pressing
click to enlarge you can also turn it down through the steam controller settings, which you can open from within the Prey controller menu as well I think it is in the Advanced settings for the right stick, but I can’t remember exactly. Anyway, this seemed to work the best for me. Full controller support in the menus. Been playing the tutorial for the past 10 mintues and can’t use my controller.
Just got this controller and it seems awesome but i want to change the sensitivity of the touch pad and maybe change some buttons to do different things. Anyway how?

Search the line „switch (deviceName)“, edit/rename all other controller names next to IDT_ (Xbox/Steam) to PS4 and save, it should look like this: switch oops.. i thought i was on the DS2 forum then.. still, my witcher 2 is set for xbox 360. i started on kb/m but after putting in like 800 hours using a controller on DS2, i was kind’ve used to it and switched to xbox controller for witcher 2.. first time i played i think it was default PS4 or 3, buttons but next time i loaded up, it had designated all the keys to xbox 360.

I usually play RPG’s with Keyboard and Mouse. I tried both for Witcher 2, and I must say, it somehow is easier and a more fun with the controller, especially the fights go much smoother. So In my opinion, the controller is better for Witcher 2.
I tried using pc controller but the game doesnt recognise it. The controller option is not showing up. I dont like playing on keyboard. What should I do? Does anyone have the same problem? Thanks I recently took up the Witcher series after playing the most recent game months ago, but then decided to start from the beginning to understand the lore better. Finished the first game with carpal tunnel from my crappy mouse and made me never want to play another game that doesn’t use a game controller. When I started up the second Witcher game I was So even on stick sensitivity 0.5 I find it really hard to consistently slowly walk around. Is there any way to further change the point where walking turns into running?
After that make sure the „Steam Input Per-Game Setting“ is set to „Forced Off“ After that start the game and make sure your Camera Sensitivity is set to about 50% (or change it according to how you want to play).
If you’re planning on playing with a controller, I’d suggest taking a look at my controller custom config guide on the regular steam forums. As seamless as the Witcher 2’s controller support is, there are several useless buttons that can be programmed as hotkeys for magical powers.
After finishing the game I decided to make this guide since I couldn’t find a written 100% Achievement Guide in english on Steam. I tried to make it as comprehensible as possible, but I am of course

Using a program called, ‚ AntiMicro ‚ I have been able to play the game using a wired (USB) Xbox One controller. I was able to work my way up to, „The Beast“ and then defeated it without issue. I saw a post made by Murakaisomething saying to subscribe to a workshop item for controller support but after having done so, nothing happened. There was no noticeable Quick configuration guide to remap gamepad bindings for a closer to the Souls games control layout ETS 2 was released in 2012 but still we still we only have 2 basic options for driving. Steering sensitivity and non-linearity. The game has an in-built speed sensitivity setting (uneditable) which limits your steering angle based on the speed you’re driving and this value is too high. Hence, we have to slow down to 5kph to make 90° tight turns or even at roundabouts.
I reduced right stick sensitivity to 0.9 using the options menu, great. But there’s no option there to reduce left stick sensitivity, so Geralt is lurching around like a marionette and I’ve managed to make him fall off a bridge twice already today. Is it hidden somewhere else? Puzzled as to why the option is only there for one stick, the less important one. this guide writer is extremely low IQ. not only is this the worst way to add controller support to oblivion, the condescending comments about people wanting to use a controller is juvenile at best.
Valve’s Steam Controller is certainly one of the more divisive controllers in modern gaming. The touchpad was a move away from the dual joystick approach of other systems. However configuring the Steam Controller touchpad is not always straightforward. Here we will look at how to change the sensitivity of the touchpad on the Steam controller.
A lot of functions just aren’t working with a gamepad. eg can’t drop items from inventory with y can’t move between quests in the journal can’t open the inventory using „dpad-up“ like it says to in the tutorial My controller works fine with other games. I’ve reinstalled the game, but no go. Anyone else had any of these issues or know of a fix? A fast and quick guide, about how to use an a pretty any gamepad (even Wheel controller) with Witcher 3. I recently completed a playthrough of Witcher 2 with the goal to optimize my build to create the most tanky Geralt possible. If one was so inclined, this build would be very effective in an Insanity m
I found the default controller (right stick) sensitivity too high, so turned it down (a lot). When I wanted to turn the sensitivity (for the camera) back up a little – the game doesn’t let me. The slider bar is stuck at minimum. Anyone who’s encountered this problem and knows how to solve it? p.s. This only happens for the right stick camera slider bar.
