TASKS FOR MARCH 2023 Sun 12th – An event with the Sheffield Bodgers, where we can try our hand at some Green Wood working. Sheffield Bodgers meet at Manor Oak Cottages on Manor What we do The group currently meets about two Sundays a month to work on practical conservation projects in the community. The projects include: Dry stone walling Tree Planting The Conservation Volunteers in Yorkshire is able to work with people and communities to transform their health, prospects and outdoor places
S.C.V. (Sheffield Conservation Volunteers) exists solely to enable all members of the community to get involved in conserving the local environment by way of positive action. Dear All, The task scheduled for this Sunday, the 11th August, at Wadsley & Loxley Common is cancelled as no driver is available to transport the tools & tea stuff to the site. For the first 6 or 7 years of its existence, the group actually called itself „Hallam Conservation At TCV we love to help people realise their potential.
