My games‘ graphic settings won’t save So I have an HP omen pc and lately I have this really annoying issue where the graphic settings of my games won’t save. Specificly, assassins creed odyssey is on „ultra high“ by default. My PC can’t handle it so i tried turning it down back to high.

Hi all. I have been trying to fix this for awhile and can’t get it fixed. My game settings will not save no matter how hard I try. I deleted the UserSettings.txt already, that didn’t help. I am not sure what to do. Everytime I travel to a new location, reboot the game, or swap toons I My settings wont save Changed the settings.ini from read only and still it only lasted a grand total of one day before settings reverted to default. It worked beautifully. All of my sound and graphics settings were finally saving and the UI wasnt getting hung up anymore after exiting the sim. I did have to recalibrate my wheel and pedals which wasn’t a big deal. The support rep ended up remoting into my system to figure out the updater issue and wasnt able to resolve it. Then found that changing settings from main menu -> options without the game running indeed works. At my end it was mainly graphics settings, tried to set them to lower values bc. high values lead to some heat issues at my machine.

I’m having an issue with my game settings not saving. Like I’ll put my game diffculty up and turn on survival mode, but when I go out of the settings and into the game, when I re-enter the settings it’s turned down to novice and survival is turned off. Also now when i exit the BIOS settings thru the save&exit button my pc shuts down and 1 second later boots up like usual.
