Little Criffel Track – This track is in the Pisa Conservation Area which lies between Wānaka and Cromwell.

From the top, you can connect with the Pisa Range Ridge Track to access Mt Pisa and other destinations in Getting there Kirtle Burn Track starts at the Western side of the Pisa Conservation Area, accessing Kirtle Burn Hut, and giving access to Mt Pisa.

Starting from Mount Pisa Station, this steep farm track winds its way up a spur on the southern side of Tinwald Burn. The track is 10 km long with an elevation gain of more than 1500m and reaches 1,882 m at the junction with Pisa Range Ridge Track. This is a standard eight-bunk hut in the Pisa Conservation Area. Rock Peak Track – Get great views from this track at the southern end of the Pisa range. A simple off-track walk up to the summit of Mt Scott (1363m) from the Crown Range Road, for views of the Pisa Conservation Area. Start at Queensberry car park and climb the Pisa Range Ridge Track. This is a steady climb through farmland, up past the Alfern Conservation Area and its small remnant grove of kānuka and Hall’s tōtara. Climb over the stile into the Pisa Conservation Area and follow the farm track towards the trig at 1,444 m altitude. Take in the panoramic view over the Upper Clutha basin The Pisa Conservation Area’s 23,000 hectares overlooks the Upper Clutha and Wakatipu basins, and beyond to the Southern Alps/Kā Tiritiri o te Moana. You can hunt red deer, chamois, goats and pigs in this area.

This track at the southern end of the Pisa Range gives quick access to great views. Follow an old 4WD track as it zigzags up from the car park to the Bob Lee Hut is a Private Hut that is located in Pisa Conservation Area, Otago. It has 7 bunks.
