On a chilly Easter weekend morning, a beloved Dad, Gramps, brother and uncle, Kaarlo Jarvela, passed away in the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. Kaarlo was born on October 16 The family of Dawn Almgren are very saddened to announce her passing January 24, 2025 at Nipigon District Hospital. Dawn was born in Saint John, N.B. to Martha and Edward Danells and was one of 10 Mrs. Irene Gladys Aloysius Luce, 89 years, of Nipigon, Ontario, passed away peacefully, at her home, on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Irene worked at Zechner’s Limited Grocery Store for fifteen years.
