Running a 3090, 551.61 was the last driver set that gave me a smooth experience in Helldivers 2. @Greybear Sorry for asking again in a somewhat naive way — but is it really the case that the applications: „GeForce Experience“ on one hand and the „Nvidia App“ on the other are two separate and independent applications? I had always assumed that the „Nvidia App“ was the direct successor to „GeForce Experience“—essentially not an alternative, but more like Actually, I’ve been trying to decide if I want that game right now. All I keep reading online is fps and stuttering issues. That’s not to imply it’s unapproachable, though. Just to point out that it may take a bit before both ends (dev and NV) finally meet in the middle. And, other than cost, another reason I tend NOT to buy games right out of the gate. Meanwhile, if you could Yeah, I thought you’ve meant GeForce Experience supported games (i also saw Helldivers there). Unfortunately, some time ago NVIDIA removed the ability to launch unsupported games in GeForce NOW. But since they’re expanding the list of supported games regularly, if you’ll have the time, leave a message here with the title of the game and other games you’d like to see

NVIDIA pushed a new driver update a few days ago. Downloaded it, and now my game is stuck on a black screen on startup. (The game is still running, I can skip the intro cutscene just fine and I hear myself loading onto my ship.) Revalidating files does nothing, but it does say that two files have been re-downloaded every single time. really bad frametimings, loads of stutter back with latest patch. my capframex 0.1% lows now are 56.8 avg 0.1% 29 on the ship constant stutter even standing still. The Nvidia app is out of beta and aims to improve the old GeForce Experience with interface changes and a bulked-up in-game overlay.

Either don’t upgrade to the latest Nvidia drivers which is version 555.85 (This causes the fps to drop by half and gameplay affected greatly) or perform clean install from the Nvidia driver installer which is Version 552.44. I’ve tested it today by rolling back to version 552.44 and my normal fps is back to normal.
