No. It’s incredibly easy to get a Railjack. If you absolutely don’t want to farm for a Necramech, buy it seperately. Of course, if you buy a Necramech you don’t get any mods for it like you would if you farmed for one. They’re not necessary for The New War, 1. You’ll need a necramech. In your railjack try doing some missions before starting new war: In your railjack: Level up Tactical, Piloting, Gunnery, Engineering, Command. (engineering is highest priority so your railjack can survive and perhaps gunnery is second)

At higher Level : Always use (2) Shield Maiden when Necramech repair start healing your, then shut if off to allow Necramech Rage to act. At Low to Mid Level : Spamming (3) Firing Line is a good CC for those who does have a Necramech or to protect a Voidrig in artillery mode.

You can use Necramech in Open World locations (Planes of Ediolon, Orb Vallis and Cambion drift) as well as Lua Conjunction Survival.
