The second Earthquake Spell dropped on a structure will do 1/3 the damage of the first spell, the third will do 1/5th, the fourth will do 1/7th, and so on. It’s not immediately clear how much the damage from Earthquake increases on walls with subsequent castings. For its spell version, see Earthquake Spell. „Causes a powerful earthquake which destroys Walls and damages Buildings“ The Earthquake Boots is a piece of Common Hero Equipment for the Barbarian King. [Misc] Using Earthquake spells to destroy a Townhall completely

Just had this thought after looking at the post on what earthquakes did to walls. Since earthquakes do a percentage of health, quakes would take out any building, just like walls were taken out. I’m guessing supercell made it so earthquake doesn’t do as much damage to the TH, but can anyone confirm this? And some math wonders take numbers very seriously, doing (probably) unnecessary calculations that are very impressive. The r/theydidthemath subreddit (not to be confused with its polar opposite, r/theydidndothemath) is the place for math-lovers to flex their skills in real-world situations. Since each max earthquake spell does 12% damage to a building could you technically win a raid/ war attack just using spells? 9 spells x 12% = 108%. Is there something I’m missing? Do you think that this will be done in the future for example trophy pushing? I know it’s a waste of de. But if you just wanted to win raids it would be really easy to do this with just spells for even max th10s Very niche-y, but it does the second most damage per elixir to crown towers. (61 for Earthquake, 72 for Rocket, ~50 and lower for the other spells) I’m thinking about pairing this with strong defensive cards along with chip damage. Repeated Earthquake Spells dropped on the same building become less and less effective. After a few they stop doing much damage at all, so Earthquake Spells are better used to soften up or finish off tough buildings.

[misc] Does the earthquake spell affect retracted teslas?

I conducted research last week into the behavior of earthquake (specifically looking at the effective radius of the spell and how it handled walls that were partially within the radius.

The Earthquake Spell, similar to the lightning spell takes away damage from buildings. However, different from the lightning spell, the Earthquake Spell has a radius that it destroys in and it takes away a PERCENTAGE of the health away. As a TH12 attacking a TH12, you can substitude one maxed Lightning Spell with a maxed Earthquake Spell. This could potentially save you a spell slot if you manage to hit multiple Air Defenses with a single Earthquake Spell.

I got rolled by a cleric rocking no + magic damage using earthquake on my Barb last night. I take ironwill and had on the northern tunic so I’ve got pretty solid magic resist as well. Something is definitely up with that spell because it does insane damage. Makes me sad as a wizard main because it’s probably the best spell in the game and it shits on the spells wizard has right now.

Welcome to the They Did The Math subreddit where 944k took ‘do the math’ literally and came up with very interesting results. “Useless yet interesting calculations,” states the community’s description and who doesn’t like arguments proven by the power of determination and careful mathematical calculation? If they are not, you probably want to double check the entries. There are also another reason they may not add, but this one is more uncommon. Soliogn’s Tempestuous Earthquake. The spell fills the area with violent winds. A flying creature halves its speed while in the area and makes a Dexterity saving throw at the start of each of its turns or falls prone .

Re: Auto loan.. math not adding up. Did i get screwed? That is exactly the way interest works. You can get a very good idea of how much interest you will pay by printing an amortization schedule based on the terms of your loan. Then you can play around with the figures by adding in additional principal payments to see how much

The math doesn’t really care whether you divide the percentage or if you divide the final value. It all works out the same. ( (.5 / 3) * 100) = 16.666 is mathematically identical to ( (.5 * 100 ) / 3 ) = 16.666 It’s just how you prefer to think of it. Technically they’re not rectangles because the edges are rounded. And even more technically they’re not rectangles because they’re three dimensional objects with a shape that is difficult to define due to it’s many-layered and inconsistent nature. Start off with a Global Spell, follow it up with an aura, and if they don’t have the pips to Earthquake, blade and hit. If they still have pips, I guess you could go for Feints. Although you still can blade but you’d have to be more mindful of the possibility of Earthquake and have a backup plan in case they do. From the video Daddy posted a level 4 Earthquake spell looked to do around, or a little less than, 50% damage to a wall.
