Microsoft Teams does not play (output) or record (input) audio, when trying Teams call on a remote PC(connected with Windows Remote Desktop client). Hey folks, Has anyone been able to get camera and microphone redirection working on a Mac for Teams (VDI) in Azure Virtual Desktop – via RemoteApp? TL;DR – we have setup AVD for a customer, presenting the Office apps and others via RemoteApp groups, including Teams. I am running a windows 11 on my laptop and have vmware horizon client 8.7 installed but i can not access microphone and camera inside the VDI but is accessible on my laptop. VDI has windows 10 running on it
How do you get your mic to work? I have the quest 2 and I’m connecting wirelessly. I have my headset plugged in and it plays the audio fine but doesn’t seem to pic up my mic. Issue: While working in my virtual machine, I usually have Teams open in the VM. When receiving a call, my Teams audio would work, but not the microphone. This lead to the frustrating predicament that if I received a Teams call, I could only have a functional conversation if I answered the call from outside the VM on my local computer. trying to connect to Azure VM and use Teams on the VM, but Microphone does not come over modified the RDP file and selected to bring audio over. This work fine when i RDP to any other Windows machine, but not on the Azure VM Does Microsoft put something in place to block MIC access ?

Microphone is working for Teams application, I can able to redirect the devices from local machine to Azure virtual Desktop. But could not able to access Microphone for Zoom. Mic not working in Steam/link VR
I got a oculus quest yesterday and got virtual desktop on it which is great. I was trying out VR chat and my mic didn’t seem to be working. On my pc the windows sound input and output are set to that of the quest. The speakers on the quest are receiving the sound just fine it’s just the mic. Also it isnt muter in vrchat so not sure I’m having trouble getting my headset microphone to work on Citrix Workspace. I’ve never had problems with my headset mic and it currently works just fine on my desktop. But in Citrix, I see it detected my mic and knows it exist, but it’s not recording my voice for some reason. In this state music stops working in AVD, and on local device. We have found if the user disconnects AVD local audio starts working again, and once reconnected to AVD audio/calls work again.
