Is there pretty much no hope for a killzone trilogy remaster?

I remember playing the killzone liberation demo a 100 times on my PSP because I was in middle school and couldn’t afford to get the actual game. Major throwback.

It’s my favorite Vita game and my experience with botzone makes me hungry for the real thing. I know Killzone 2 has been brought back online by the fans. so is there something like that at least planned for Killzone mercenary? And I get the argument on the other side saying “well resistance/Killzone/Socom would never compete with cod” well no shit nothing competes with it, even Halo at it’s peak on the 360 got outsold by cod on the 360 alone. That doesn’t mean PlayStation can’t at least try and provide variety on their platform. Resistance and Socom are just prime games to reboot imo.

With seemingly no plans in place for a Killzone revival, fans of the franchise are left to wonder why more is not being done with the IP. Killzone and Resistance not getting remasters of all games is something I will never understand. Both offer some of the best single-player campaigns and multiplayer in the whole genre. Someone in a killzone subreddit actually is asking for enough upvotes in order to petition for a remaster on the PS4 just for a unified multiplayer experience. And I thought it will lose the whole reason why it was so special.

Probably they have to remaster/remake the game for PS4/5 before being able to port it, but would love to see them do it Remasters for PS5 and at the same time making PC ports, I dont know what game have same legendary status for its MP as Kill Zone 2 have as ppl speaks so highly about it, like it was the best ever made.
