Is This What Dragon Did In Logue Town?

trueThe lightning that struck the execution of Luffy at Logue town could’ve been Luffy’s own rather than Dragon’s. With the reveal of Luffy’s devil fruit being Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, his utilization of lightning during the fight with Kaido, and the apparent „will of their own“ that Zoan Devil Fruits have (as revealed by the Elders in chapter 1044) I think it’s quite possible that the Dragon intervened in Loguetown to see his son, Monkey D. Luffy, off on his journey to the Grand Line. When Smoker nearly captured Luffy, Luffy’s wanted poster just came out. Reports say he’s still in East Blue when it did so Dragon figured his son will stop by Loguetown for supplies before heading into the Grand Line.

i think smoker fought dragon at loguetown and he at least got a draw with him. smoker tried to kill luffy + smoker is a marine with a logia so i doubt dragon would just let him go but i think smoker fought dragon off. the reason it wasnt shown is because oda wanted to save dragons powers for Dragon did not save Luffy with lightening that stroke Buggy at the execution stand in Loguetown. – The lightening is pure HAKI. Dragon appears to be supportive of Luffy’s journey as a pirate, expressing approval of him becoming one when at Loguetown and reflecting at Baltigo that he hoped for Luffy’s pirating career to play a role in the world’s shifting. Dragon saved Luffy from Smoker, but did he save him from Buggy as well? Re-readin chapter 99 in color, here is a link if you want a quick glance at the scene I am talking about. I am well aware that Dragon saves Luffy in chapter 100 from smoker, but what do people believe in regards to the lightning bolt that saved him from buggy?

The One Piece community has always been split on whether to call Monkey D Dragon a good or bad father to his son, Monkey D Luffy. On one hand, he’s the most wanted man alive, so dissociating from his son was the only way to keep him from being wanted, too. On the other hand, he’s done almost nothing for his boy since then to support him. Even those who We don’t know. It can be interpreted that it was implied to be Dragon. But other explanations exist. Luffy has been chosen by the heavens. But Smoker mentioned what happened at Logue town when he saw Dragon, saying that it made sense since Dragon is Luffy’s dad. I’ve seen a lot of theories around here that Dragon had some part to play in the lightning that struck Buggy and saved Luffy at Loguetown, and it’s one of my least favorite fan theories, especially given how popular it is. IMO one of the main themes of the series is the chase your dreams, even at risk of failure, no matter who you are. Luffy being prepared to die with a smile

Monkey D. Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army and is expected to be one of the strongest characters in One Piece. There are strong hints that Dragon possesses a Devil Fruit power

ANIME OP REVIEW 3.8K Views 2:57 Is this what Dragon did in Logue Town HYPEKAGE 19.7K Views 0:16

I mean, Dragon surely didn’t just fly into Loguetown in a matter of mere seconds to save Luffy from both Buggy and smoker. So it’s only purely coincidence that Luffy and Dragon crossed paths in the same island. Do y’all think there’s a specific reason Dragon went to Loguetown to begin with?

Jefrey Baydal 16.3K Views 2:57 Is this what Dragon did in Logue Town HYPEKAGE 19.7K Views 2:56 Fans know that in chapter 100 of One Piece, Dragon saves Luffy from Smoker in Loguetown and fans get to see exactly how and why Dragon Trivia The words prologue and epilogue, which describe the events before and after a story without being directly related to the storyline, are taken from the name of the town. Oda developed “Logue” Town by combining the roots of the two terms. The town in the beginning and the end is another name for this place.

Though much of the second season of Netflix’s One Piece adaptation will be taken from the Arabasta Saga, the second saga of the story, there is one arc from the first saga, the East Blue Saga Did we ever find out why Dragon was in loguetown? I dont remember reading anything about it. With the most recent chapters coming out, I like to think that Dragon has trained his observation haki to the point where he to can see the future and thats why he was there. Or that the revolutionary army’s base is located somewhere near loguetown. Anyhow, just my thoughts. In ep 53 when Luffy is caught by Smoker, Dragon shows up. Shortly after there is a green gust of wind that flies by and everyone seems to be blown away. This does not seem like one of the 3 haki’s but maybe I am wrong. Can anyone confirm what he did exactly? I thought Conquerors Haki emitted an aura that shows you are above others

Roger, Dragon (current age) and Smoker are castings that you will want to reveal in a third official casting announcement – especially if you got some high-profile actors. Their actors would have strict NDAs if they are included. The new cast of Loguetown isn’t really big so this leaves only Tashigi and Ipponmatsu as „leakable“ actors.
