Why was Avatar TLA only 3 seasons?

Not surprising to see Legend of Korra up in the top tens on Netflix ...

Tbh I didn’t realise there was a sequel to Atla until 10 years ago. Got around to watching it first after I finished a marathon of atla 8 years ago. It was a bit hard watching LoK because I grew up with avatar, however with each passing season I grew to love Korra as much as I

How do you watch The Legend of Korra? What happened to Nick putting the episodes up on their website as they air? That’s how I watched last season up until when it came out on DVD, and I was expecting to be able to watch this season like that too. They haven’t put any episodes up yet and we’re halfway through the season. And for all you Aang Lovers out there: Not Aang == Aangs son (the only badass in the series, air bending is crazy shit you guys!) — And that’s why Legend of Korra sucks — It’s based on a series we all love, takes the pain of stupid never should’ve happened movie and tries to appease us by giving a piece of old good times. If you’re hungry for more, watch Legend of Korra, or read the comics that go into the details of what happens to the gaang after the 100 year war, like what happened to zuko’s mother.

In TLA Aang was pretty much tougher than everyone except the Fire Lord and Azula, and even with Azula it was pretty damn close, and was untouchable in the avatar state. It’s super annoying watching Korra get the shit kicked out of her in literally every single episode.

I’ve tried googling stuff like „Shows like Korra“, „What to watch after Korra“ etc., but all the lists I found were things like „Shows like TLOK and TLA“, which I find rather strange – I loved both shows but to me they are very different. Hi, I really hope that you’ll enjoy the Legend of Korra! There is a small percentage of people who experience sadness after watching LOK for the first time, and I was one of them. But nonetheless, I began loving LOK the same as ATLA. Please don’t make the „mistake“ and try comparing both shows; they are different. Should my 7 year old brother watch The Legend of Korra?

I think that watching the Wan origin story first is a horrible idea. The reason why I personally loved it so much was because it was a great mystery throughout the [No Spoilers] Where can I watch A:TLA in the best quality? Hi! I am looking to re-watch Avatar: The Last Airbender again, now, I have the DVD’s, but I find them to be of awful quality, even worse than online free streaming sites that have the show even in my opinion. Where can I watch it in the best available quality?

Hey, I’m a massive A:TLA fan who just started watching Legend of Korra. I’m coming to the end of the first season andI’m not impressed. The characters seem flat, the story is formulaic, and it’s only really Korra and Bo Lin (am I spelling that right? No subtitles) that I find interesting. However, I remember that up until The Storm, I didn’t love Avatar all that much either, but after So, a lot of people just started watching Avatar due to it coming back to Netflix. The show just had a big popularity jump back into the mainstream and naturally new fans are likely to come. If you are one of those people, welcome and I’m glad you enjoyed the show as much as many of us do! But you may be wondering: what’s next? Do you finished the show but still carve for more Yes it is worth watching.About your questions 1.It’s very different.Don’t expect the same themes, storylines or characters. If you want more of ATLA I would advice not to watch lok right now. 2.Yes but those things are really subjective 3.The main characters (Korra)developement arc is on par with Zukos. 4.The fights and generally the animation are one of the best things about

I truly loved reading that, and I really do agree with a lot of it. In many ways, Korra is a lot like Aang. On the opposing side, there were many distinguishing factors between the two. Korra as both a show and a character made bold decisions that Aang and TLA didn’t make, and both shows and characters are all the better for it. I’m 25, I watched atla when it first came out and I really loved it, but when Korra came out I was already getting a little too old for Nick. I revisited avatar as an adult but never felt compelled to watch Korra because most people seemed to agree it

The kid characters in Korra are drawn very similarly to the kid characters in TLA, there’s just not as many of them. If you haven’t watched Legend of Korra because of the art style, I respectfully suggest that you’re missing out. Believe it or not, I still haven’t seen ATLA (despite being 11 when it first came out!), though I had a blast watching Korra live. I was planning on watching Avatar for the first time this holiday season, and it looks like I picked the perfect time to begin! <3 to all of you for all the effort and energy in both this project and the whole

anybody else find it frustrating …

So lots of you probably followed along as the show came out, but for those who binged, even partially (please mention), how long did it take? I watched all A:TLA and TLoK (inc. chibi shorts) and read all canon comics in just over 3 days. I somewhat regret it; I didn’t get to appreciate things slowly as much, and I was sometimes a bit sleep deprived while watching. Hoping to Where to watch The Legend of Korra (2012) starring Dee Bradley Baker, Janet Varney, David Faustino and directed by Ian Graham.

I loved TLA but I never finished Korra. Look, Korra isn’t for everyone. Watch the first season and if you aren’t feeling it, just stop watching the show. Season 1 is pretty self contained, so you can make your own choice at the end of that season. Korra isn’t a bad show at all, though.

Yet, there is nothing in the show or comics and graphic novels to suggest that either Korra or Asami were merely “testing” in their relationships with men. In fact, Korra herself seems to have very genuine and strong feelings for Mako during their little “triangle confusion” with Mako and Bolin in Season 1 of the show.

The Legend of Korra may be gone from Netflix for the time being, but Korra fans can still turn to other options There has been debate online over which episodes of ATLA where actually „filler“ or not. Well after re-watching the show I feel like I pieced together which episodes from each book had the most importance on the main story. What I decided to do was break the episodes down to three different categories: 1. Rumor: A new Avatar (A:TLA) series is coming to Paramount+. Planned for 2025. Will take place after Korra with Earth Avatar

Is Korra Lesbian? Exploring Representation in The Legend of Korra

Korra is a great sequel, and Atla sets up Korra, and Korra constantly reminds us of Aang and what made the original so great, so we want to watch TLA again, etc. He might not like it as much as TLA, but I wouldn’t say any of it is inappropriate for him to watch. Compared to TLA, he might find Korra a little boring, and the bloodbending might be a little upsetting, but no more than Hama in The Puppetmaster episode.
