I’m personally happy that we finally got a proper port to replace the PoS Ubisoft port. The general problem is optimizations and the messy code base. RE4 was written for a much better CPU architecture called PowerPC instead of that x86 that runs in your computer. The only mask/helmet that does something I’ve unlocked is gas mask. I still need to do S+ in standard to professional. Will this help?

The disable V-Sync and cap the framerate up to 60 on the game settings is still the best choice to fix stuttering crashes and bugs (Including raid mode) the dll. fixes the bad optimization (on low power GPUs) but updating the BIOS sounds more an issue with your hardware rather than an a general fix. This game sucks over all. Its not scary, its not survival horror and a very bad story. They made Ashley look worse. She doesnt even look like a woman anymore. The game is so action heavy and not scary, why cant we have another masterpiece like Resident Evil 1 Remake? -.- The graphics look so ugly man, like it looks like a bad painting and I dont like paintings. After lots of troubleshooting I seem to have fixed the frame-rate stutter I’ve been noticing on my PC. Before trying the steps outlined in the article below, I had tried multiple solutions including putting all display setting to low but no luck. It seems the Fixes 4-7 helped solve my issue! I have been able to play on max settings even with Ray Tracing enabled. Before the PC community starts raging at me, I am an hardcore PC gamer who plays EVERYTHING on PC, the only reason why I own a PS4 and a Switch is because of exclusive games such as God of War, Uncharted, Zelda, etc. But I do buy triple AAA games on consoles just to compare it to the PC port.
