Youll see like 50 year olds on the CP cause they dont check if your actually in college, they just want someone who wants to work for the company and is suckered into the program, it also looks great on a resume and makes getting a PT or FT position with the company hella easy, and the 3 year seniority you get after is dope too. I did the program almost 20 years ago and am still asked about it on interviews. I think it sparks a conversation and also shows how you can adjust to whatever situation you might face professionally because of your experience of working for Disney and the training they provide.

I applied for PIs right after my program and got rejected by all of them despite my participation in those classes and things during my program. If you really want to work for Disney in a white collar capacity, then a professional internship is the real foot in the door. Worth it in regards to what? Overall, I say absolutely worth it, to this day I still feel it was the best time of my life. For me it was worth it for more personal reasons, I grew a lot as a person and as a young adult during my program and learned how to navigate things by myself instead of relying on family. The Disney College program might help my resume look good and have jobs overlook my unemployment history. But at the same time, I don’t want to work in food service ever again and chances are I might end up there.

I am thinking about doing the Disney College Program in the next year. Tuns of people at my school have done this program but i keep getting mix signals.
