I have other shields but all of them are more for utility (rocket shields, etc). For combat nothing comes close to how good the Frost-Emitter Shield is. I’ve also not had the frost emitter itself break. I have plenty more if it does. I have no need for the Magic Rod (Ice) anymore because of how good the shield is. As title, I found a lot of people fighting very hard for Tome of Exile soul shields, usually bidding all the way to 10+ sliver. They are very transitional soul shields, only marginally better than Profane even with crit fused. Not to mention they need two unsealing charm each as well.
