Another benchmark has 10 threads running, while you have 14 threads. Maybe it’s more optimal to run only 10 threads because your CPU has 20 MB L3 cache. In theory it can combine L2 + L3 for a total of 14 threads because L3 cache is not inclusive, but it doesn’t seem to be the case here. You can try to remove that last 4 threads from the „rx“ list in config.json and run again. The

RandomX Optimization Guide

If the Hashrate stays above 500MH for another 2-3 days, I am going to turn off my rigs. I like XMR and I want to support the community, but mining on that Difficulty is not only unprofitable but painful. ASIC and FPGA resistance was very important for me and now I see how Monero is changing and no one from the Devs says a word. This is not a good sign Reply dEBRUYNE_1 [REDDIT] ASIC resistance & hashrate discussion thread + preliminary information regarding the upcoming scheduled protocol upgrade of ~ March 9 (self.Monero) | 87 points (97.0%) | 106 comments | Posted by dEBRUYNE_1 | Created at 2019-02-11 – 20:54:32 Community highlights, Forum Funding System updates, Workgroup report, Network Upgrade, and RamdomX PoW discussion

Hashrate always ~350 for a few hours, then 200 for a few hours, and back to 350. Evgennys version runs on CYD since 5 hours, also without any issues, and also 350, since now, without any slowdown. 1GB huge pages on Linux, increases memory requirements to 3GB (3 pages) per NUMA node and increases the hashrate by 1-3%. Disable NUMA support by „numa“: false in „randomx“ object, miner will use only 1 dataset, but it reduce hashrate significantly, if you have only 1 NUMA node this option has no effect.

Is there discussion about the unknown hashrate by the Monero core developers and what is causing it? Also, is there any consideration of how Mimblewimble could be adapted for XMR? Community highlights, Forum Funding System updates, Workgroup report, Network Upgrade, and RamdomX PoW discussion

Coinwarz should reflect this soon. There are SEVERAL other cryptos that are more profitable BY FAR on ANY GPU– what gives? I get that some people ‚prospectively mine‘, but who is risking so much hash [REDDIT] ASIC resistance & hashrate discussion thread + preliminary information regarding the upcoming scheduled protocol upgrade of ~ March 9 (self.Monero) | 87 points (97.0%) | 106 comments | Posted by dEBRUYNE_1 | Created at 2019-02-11 – 20:54:32

However, it would be interesting to generate such a nonce plot for every known pool + unknown hashrate. It’s known that Monero will fork its PoW anyway, so they don’t really have to hide. Edit2: Changed intensity of the RX 570 to 960 and now getting over 700 hashes and somehow my RX 580 jumped to 850 hashes on the settings mentioned on original edit. Edit3: Just tested out my brothers GPUs and he’s getting 310 on his RX 560 with 2 threads at 432 intensity and his R9 380 is getting 430 with 2 threads also at 432 intensity. Hello everybody, I just wanted to make this post for all the new miners that I see on r/MoneroMining all the time. This is just a list of some of the things you can change in the XMRig configuration file that may help increase your hashrates, it’s best to play around with these settings yourself and find what works best in your case. That being said here’s some of the

RandomX implementation of Monero requires having 2MB of L3 cache per mining thread. Your processor is i7-3770K, it comes with 8MB of L3 cache. That’s why XMRig is only using 4 threads. There’s no way to increase the thread count without hurting your hashrate. You could try mining other RandomX variants on MoneroOcean and get paid in XMR. To reach this conclusion, I proceeded by dychtomy : I made measurements over 15 minutes, I started with 16 threads, then 8, then 12, then 4, etc until I concluded that 7 gave me the best hashrate.

All estimates are based on calculations derived from data across various blockchains. This is my personal desktop that isn’t a dedicated rig so max hashrate per dollar wasn’t really a concern.
