Also, make sure your mesh at the root of the thread is fine enough to accurately capture the stress concentration – because of that, I recommend you simplify the analysis to a symmetric slice, shell model, or 2-D axisymmetric analysis (I’m not sure if Inventor Nastran can do that last one yet).
