So,i have quadro p520, and after updating everything graphical seems to be performing much worse than before.Steam games are unplayable with very low fps (with proton too). Please help.

I’m using Fedora Silverblue in all sorts of ways, and will be using Fedora (Kinoite in my case) on my gaming PC once it’s been repaired. As long as you’re okay with using flatpaks, there really aren’t any major limitations of using it. And rpm-ostree provides a workaround if needed, although it’s generally not recommended. Fedora’s KDE is basically vanilla, just like GNOME on Fedora Workstation. openSUSE is great too, but rolling releases are just a bit too much for me personally.

I was initially hesitant with Silverblue, but after watching Joe Castro’s videos on the whole model of image basing and containerization, the benefits far outweighed the detriments to me. I switched from Debian to Fedora Silverblue in a jiffy and after three months have had zero issues. Executable file placement is simpler, as anything previously in /usr/sbin is now merged into /usr/bin.
