Di: Ava

Does Yen get mad if you sleep with Triss? Sleeping with Triss will leave Yen heartbroken and blocks players from the chance of building a relationship with her. Who loves Geralt more, Triss or Yen? Yennefer of Vengerberg is decisively Geralt’s true love, both in The Witcher 3, and in the series as a whole. This is apparent from one of their first ever encounters in the books, when Yen helps Geralt cure Dandelion of a djinn’s grasp.

Who does Geralt canonically end up with?

I intended on romancing Triss on my second okay through but I honestly found the interactions with her too cringy and awkward. Geralt doesn’t feel genuine for any of it. I couldn’t do it and went for Yen again. I know she’s a flawed character but her and Geralt’s relationship seems to have way more depth. In case of healthy relationship Geralt and Yennefer are surely not 100%, but still way better and healthier than Triss and Geralt. EDIT: And yes, Triss didn’t told Geralt about Yennefer and abused his amnesia for her own sake in the first Witcher game. Sorry to be blunt, but you don’t just get to tell people „they’re wrong“ about choosing Triss over Yen, especially while you’re obviously not in the picture about the full story and dynamic of the relationship between Triss and Geralt.

Luckily, kissing Triss won’t affect Geralt’s relationship with Yennefer in The Witcher 3. When Triss ends up in his arms during the „A Matter of Life and Death“ quest, the player is at complete liberty to kiss her without consequence, as the two will soon be interrupted by Albert. However, this is as far as things can go if Geralt wishes to end up with Yennefer. Telling Triss Shouldn’t there be another romance option for your relationship with Yen? In this Witcher In the books Geralt and Yen (as Geralt calls her) relationships are complicated sometimes Great love which forgives random romances, like Fringila, Shani etc. (yes, in books Grealt was „sleeping“ with them). But some cases hurts more. Like Triss, for example, because she was old friend to Yen (even older than Geralt). And still tried to seduce Geralt. However in Is it better to go with Yennefer or Triss? Do you lose Yen if you sleep

Once you sleep with Triss, the Yennefer ending is effectively not available – which makes sense based the anger Yennefer shows towards Geralt in the prologue if you talk about Geralt’s relationship with Triss. I hope that makes sense. I think it was messed up to take advantage of Geralt’s amnesia like that. I don’t think Triss or anyone at Kaer Morhen tried to inform Geralt that he has a lover that he’s serious about – and I figured that was for Triss‘ gain, and because the other witchers thought Yen was a toxic bitch.

However, there’s no doubt that between the two, Yennefer is Geralt’s true, destined love. Triss may persistently lust after him, but the connection Geralt shares with Yen – across the games and the books alike – is much deeper than what her red-haired counterpart can ultimately offer in The Witcher 3. So much for „true love.“ From what I’m reading, Triss is abusing Geralt’s memory loss. Prior to him losing his memory, Geralt would actively reject Triss. I’m at the point right before finding Ciri. -Lastly, Triss and Geralt at that point of the game aren’t even in a relationship, Geralt commits later in the game, so even if Triss somehow slept with Lambert, it can’t be seen as cheating on Geralt. Why did Triss & Geralt break up between witcher 2 and 3? What exactly occurred „six months ago“ that caused geralt and triss to split up. Feels weird if u picked triss for your romance choices all along from witcher 1 and 2 and if u bring forward the save, she and geralt are just suddenly split up entering into witcher 3.

Just left Novigrad, and I’m having difficulty understanding Geralt’s relationship with several characters and factions – with regards to his backstory pre-Witcher 1. Can someone explain Geralt’s relationship and history with the following parties, prior to the beginning of the first game? Ciri Yennefer Triss Merigold The Emperor Philippa Eilhart, Keira Metz, & the Lodge in general

He remembers being in love with a sorceress and assumes it’s Triss, entering a relationship with her. Yennefer hears about Geralt and Triss’s relationship and is upset, which is why she doesn’t look for him before Witcher 3. During Witcher 2, Geralt recovers his memories and finds out that Yennefer is alive.

I also wanted to pick Triss at first, but in the end I decided to choose Yen because books. Seriously though after the trouble he went through tracking her down, the family dynamic with Ciri, and Triss kinda being dishonest sometimes and maybe taking advantage (?) of Geralt, I decided to stay with Yen instead. That’s just me though. Greetings. I have a quick question. Did Yen and Triss sleep with other guys after they met Geralt? I mean, Geralt sleeps with regular women, but based on books or games, I didn’t see when Triss or Yen were sleeping with ordinary guys. Is there anything about it in books or games? I didn’t see any hint about their ex-lovers or ex-bed friends. Trying to romance both Yennefer and Triss simultaneously is not advisable and will end badly for Geralt. Does Geralt love Triss or Yennefer more? Any fan of the

Geralt’s complicated relationship with Yennefer of Vengerberg is one of the fundamental plot threads in the story that launched The Witcher franchise. Those who read Andrzej Sapkowski’s books before immersing themselves in the game world might have been a little confused about Yennefer’s absence in the first two games.

Thankfully, Triss survived and went on to take part in many influential incidents across the Continent, earning Geralt’s respect and friendship. Though Witcher 3’s Triss and Geralt share some romantic moments throughout the story, players can choose whether to pursue a committed relationship with her. There’s no shortage of romance options in The Witcher 3 to fulfill Geralt’s desires. The best part is, there aren’t any romance consequences

Stuck in her fairy tale house playing the husband. My personal opinion on the triss/geralt relationship is that most of the feeling between them is sex/lust and not much else. Fun getting banged for the first while but what a bore it would become. Yen challenges geralt, intrigues him, excites him. 1.5K votes, 359 comments. p.s. haven’t read the books. so, dont know much about yen’s relationship with geralt.

I told Triss that i loved her because i really wanted her to stay as i imagined it be fun running around with her and didn’t want to lose her from the story. Didn’t expect to have sex with her and mess my relationship with Yen. I replayed over 20 hours just get to fix that mistake – worth. Triss Merigold is a sorceress from The Witcher books and games who is a close friend and ally of Yennefer and Geralt of Rivia, but also interested and unhappily in love with the latter. She is drwan to the witcher’s strength and charisma, but her feelings are complicated by Geralt’s strong bond with Yennefer. Their strong bond often makes Triss feel like an outsider, especially since With Triss it’s a calmer relationship than with Yennefer, (meaning they don’t fight often) Geralt actually says this in the game himself. Then again there are some people who would prefer the more bossy personality of Yennefer rather than the more gentler and calmer one of Triss. But if it was up to me I would pick Triss.

So, I really don’t mind. Besides, none of the characters have really strict manner of sexual morality in this universe. Geralt’s not really a faithful sort of a guy. Yen can be a neurotic harlot from time to time, even Triss has tendency to go rogue.

Do Geralt and Triss ever hook up again in the books other than the whole ‚love spell‘ or whatever thing? No. But is it completely out of canon Geralts character to not be with Yen? I think so. I’m reading Time of Contempt, where their relationship starts to improve as Ciri brings them together, and I just can’t see Geralt with anyone else. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t choose Triss in
