Does This Game Have An Text Chat System?

Not in the lobby but actually in-game..is there no form of text chat for the survivors to communicate with one another? Didn’t notice anything in the control settings. I’m assuming there isn’t any. Not only we can’t write, we can’t see the chat, and i don’t understand why I want to say good luck to people, gg, as much as i want to report who abuse the chat. It doesn’t make sense, i even have a keyboard, why we don’t have a damn chat?

I’m very confused on just the whole player-to-player communication system. Both text and voice.
