Does The Pestilence Lmg Count As A Status Effect?

Pestilence tick is only affected by weapon damage and individual / team talents that boost weapon or LMG damage. Pairs well with 4 piece Negotiators Dilemma for less tick and more overall (Coyote mask + Petrov chest). Pestilence LMG with 4pc. OD; Holster, BP, Gloves and Knees. Vile Mask and Cherish chest. All OD pieces are weapon damage cores with status effects attributes. Cherish chest is Armor core, weapon handling and status effects attributes. I’m using Skill Haste mods on mask, chest and BP. But use whatever you want. I was using CHC mods but they weren’t helping to do much. Use Rolling status effect on all pieces and repair mods. Pestilence as my primary and The Grudge as my secondary. Foam launcher and repair drone. My build is definitely not the highest dps possible with OD, but the theme is about spreading the plague, so I went with these items.
If you are using vile and have all status rolls, the pestilence is very good. (Status effects does not buff the pesti tick but it does the vile). The combo of the vile tick and pestilence tick will take out an entire room from one full stack on heroic. Super chill build to I finally got pestilence! but no from farming oh no, i haven’t received an exotic from farming ever, but instead from a cache. i really want to do a nice red dps build for it. Looking through some posts on here has given me some ideas but i was wondering if anyone had something fresh. I don’t have sawyers kneepads, contractors, or vile mask, but i do have a really good fox prayer
Does the debuff from Pestilence count as a status effect as
I like Pestilence for it’s additional tick damage over time, as I take this build as a slow killing build which allows me to chill in covers and wait for enemies to die. For this you will have to use 1 or 2 status skills to start the hollow point chain, so there’s lesser survivability with it. I compensated it with gunner spec and armor on kill mods. With Bluescreen you get to start the status
This. Nobody noticed before the update dropped because it wasn’t in the PTS patch notes, only the full release notes, but they reworked status effects and elites become basically immune after applying the same status or debuff (applies to both, Plague of the Outcasts is a debuff which is why it has never been buffed by status damage) several times. Remember, neither pestilence on tick damage, nor the Scorpios status effect are altered by status effects on your build, so, on paper and in practice, the pesti brings more damage to the table.
So PESTILENCEis it even stronger with/without the new turmoil knee pads? Some say the damage is weakened some say it’s doubled 路 What’s people’s opinions and why? The Division 2 players discuss It never was a status effect even though it was written in the skill description that it applies „pulsed status effect“. The only status effects are: burn, poison, bleed, disorient, blind/deaf, disrupt. Jammer Pulse applies disrupt status effect, Banshee Pulse applies disorient status effect and those can activate BTSU gloves. In Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, players can experience a multitude of negative status effects. These can also be applied to enemies as well. Status effects and debuffs are NOT THE SAME (Ex. Sharpshooter armor kits will not clear Pestilence stacks because it is a

- 2 questions about status effects
DOT will never be enough to really kill anything, but enemies who are status effected, any status effect, will not deploy skills/grenades/grenade launcher/etc. that could be helpful, but the status effect also makes enemies run straight to cover on legendary and remain there. It slows the fight down and is kind of boring. The debuff applied by the exotic LMG Pestilence is one such effect. The effects applied by Scorpio (exotic shotgun) count as status effects, but their damage and duration are determined solely by the amount of pellets with which the enemy is hit. On mine I concentrated on status effect and paired it with the Vile mask. Some say the Vile buffs don’t increase the Pestilence damage but I’ve tried it with and with out and I certainly see a difference. Also creeping death talent and weapon handling to get that reload speed down.
The pestilence Exotic LMG has been updated to be the new Beast of status effects when it comes to LMG’s. With this new update, the Pestilence
OD Build: A third participant uses a gunner specialization with a Pestilence LMG and emphasizes a defensive play style. They recommend focusing on status effects via skills and gear to amplify damage against affected foes. „This is definitely NOT a run & gun type of build“, they advised, calling for a more strategic approach *TRY THIS TANK BUILD* The Division 2: Pestilence is a MONSTER with Status Effects Kamikazevondoom 118K subscribers Subscribed it does count as status effect, i used that for the flamethrower task of killing npc with 2 status effects
Is pestilence plague of the Outcasts a status effect or debuff based off weapon damage? There’s so many builds on pestilence out there and they all seem to contradict each other. Some are favoring
Best weapon for my status effect build ? 樂
☣️ 4 DOT PESTILENCE BUILD dominates The Division 2 Year 7 Season 1 (Crossroads) with unstoppable plague damage! This 4 DOT monster combines Pestilence LMG + Vile Mask + Sticky Burn + Stinger Weapon And Gear Help I know it says status effect and I’m sure the debuff doesn’t count or stack if it does. Hi all, just slowly coming back to division 2 and saw there is now a native brand giving 10% status effect and a yellow core. So no need to farm the perfect Golan piece I suppose? But then what would be the perfect status effect build ? Still vile mask + eclipse ? Creeping death ? Is the new exotic ninja BP bring new status effect builds ? Maybe a „no gear set“ build can compete ?
Pestilence does a damage over time based on your weapon damage (it is not considered a status effect like fire or bleed, so those stats don’t do anything). Each hit on an enemy adds a stack, and when that enemy dies, another enemy within 25m gets the stack transferred to them. 14 votes, 52 comments. Hi fellas, I’m looking for a good Lmg build that can survive heroic difficulty (control points, summit, missions) and ideally Go for the targeted LMG. A word to the wise though, Eclipse Protocol doesn’t effect the Pestilence DoT. It’s a “debuff”, not a status effect. If you’re wanting to make a build around it, you’ll want to go pure weapon damage since that’s the only thing that’ll affect it.
Don’t think pulse counts as a status effect, i’d say only bleed/fire/cum/distrupt/shock are status effects, because otherwise pulse would trigger Vile, or be spread by Eclipse. If it doesn’t, then it isn’t a status effect surely? A rising debate among gamers over the classification of status effects is creating confusion. Key players are questioning which abilities truly qualify as „status effects,“ especially regarding various pulses in gameplay. Comments point to a need for clarification as gameplay strategies evolve. Context of the Debate Gamers are discussing the implications of certain My updated Pestilence build – almost 1m max ticks and a full armor heal in 4 secs from single skill
It’s such a good LMG that it annoys me that Plague of the outcasts doesn’t count as a status effect. If it did, the idea of strapping this on with an Eclipse Protocol build would be hysterically funny as a support weapon. Status effect increases the duration that effects like Shock, Burn, Confuse, etc, persist for before timing out In the case of burn, it also increases the damage per tick.
I’ve also found that the Pestilence LMG works really well if you already have Ridgeway’s chest and the OD set hollow points setting the bleeds for you. The LMG’s “Plague of the Outcasts” status effect and higher damage (compared to the Carnage) work well with the overall setup. Reply reply CockneyComic • Unfortunately, Pestilence talent Just managed to extract it solo from DZ, proper buzzing. Wondered if the debuff would proc things that rely on status effect applications? EDIT: Been told it doesn’t, which may be true for most things. It works with ongoing directive set though. Using Pestilence i
A Status Effect is a condition that affects an individual, whether a player or an NPC, that impacts their ability to perform actions. In common Tom Clancy’s The Division parlance, this almost always refers to Debuffs that can temporarily cripple a character in one way or another. Player characters and NPCs may exhibit differing behavior when exposed to a status effect, but the net result No. Never had. Sometimes the old one would cause an explosion and that would proc Spark, but it’s never counted as a status effect.
This page is in reference to the Damage 2.0 system. A Status Effect, or commonly called a Proc, is an additional effect which may be triggered at random by a hit from a weapon or Warframe ability. Status Chance is the probability that a hit will inflict a status effect. The base duration of the Proc will depend on its type, and whether the target is an enemy or another The point of Pestilence is not maximum single target damage. Pestilence does damage to multiple enemies simultaneously, damages enemies while they are in cover, and spreads on kill. It’s like a knock off status effect build without any skill cores.
