Cb Maxap Hemo Swords : Classic Rogue DPS Rotation, Cooldowns, and Abilities
Di: Ava
Hi Lads! So I’m brand new to the forum and had a peek at thr rogue guide posted here, although I noticed I couldn’t see a talent spec guide for a 49 Rogue I’m using swords and wanted to go for a hemo build. However, I usually see people go Hemo/assassination. But this confuses me a bit since CB/Prep works with hemo or with daggers. I have viskag, so I go hemo for pvp. If I had perditions I’d go dagger. You can also go dagger without CB for pvp. At this stage in the game, pve dps will be much better as combat; whether you’re daggers or swords. Combat daggers works well right now because perditions is such high dps and you can easily get 309 dagger skill with aged
It’s ironic that you say that, as playing daggers effectively takes a lot more skill than it’s sword/hemo counterpart. @OP- Based on your weapons at the moment, I would certainly agree with the 2nd poster who suggested going hemo and using the bonescraper as your off hand (which tbh is probably the best option outside of raid daggers for hemo I just like CB/Prep because you can do a good opener into a 5cp EA, setup hemo, kidney into prep double ambush. Of course doing it correctly would be the challenge within itself.
Being Rejected due to Hemo Swords
So I’m trying a new build for pvp, basically would like to know from any experienced rogue if hemorrhage can proc the mace talent stun? Phase 3 of WoW Classic’s 20th Anniversary is nearly here, and it’s time to prepare for one of the most exciting updates yet. Blackwing Lair (BWL) is the crown jewel of this phase, and dominating it requires careful planning. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know to succeed, from attunements and gear optimizations to must-have consumables and I prefer cb/hemo spec so wondering if I can still do cb/hemo with daggers or is that too troll. Also as an aside, is leveling as pvp spec really that much worse than combat leveling? I really want to participate in wpvp leveling up as well but don’t want to be too gimped in pve.
Hemo is great for daggers, not as good as swords, but still great. You will rack up CPs much faster using Hemo since it requires less energy. Plus the debuff helps out your damage alot. It isn’t a „must have“ talent for daggers but it helps out all the melee guys in your group. Daggers is basically trading less combo points (because your builder costs more energy), for more sustained damage. It also makes really good use of energy gain (ie ZG trinket/thistle tea). Hemo can struggle with constant dps, it relies a lot in CB evis. This makes it fairly weak vs matchups like druid/warlock/warrior where your control only gets you so far. A dagger rogue is As for PVP hemo spec was the best until you obtained t1 set pieces for extra 10 energy. By that time you probably have perditions blade and you could now make good use of a nice assassination spec. Utility wasn’t as good but anyone same geared or lower would get destroyed if backstabs crit.
Believe it or not, I’m actually having a hard time finding a good (and up-to-date) guide to a hemo rogue, ie necessary talents, recommended talents, and the stunlock combos to use to keep ‚em stunned throughout the fight and maximize the control of the subtlety tree. I’ve never played a heavy subtlety rogue, so it’s kinda new to me. When I do return, since I plan to respec anyways
Hemo/Ghostly juggle /castrandom Hemorrhage, Ghostly Strike /startattack This will randomly cast either Hemo or GS. Will only cast Hemo when GS is on CD Auto Throw /startattack /cast Deadly Throw /cast Throw This will Deadly Throw if you have combo points to use, otherwise it will just auto throw Vanish #show Vanish /cast Vanish /stopattack Sometimes Mid Tier – Swords Alternatively a lot of rogue gain access to Chromatically Tempered Sword which makes them a very dominant force with a Hemo spec which has far more sustained damage than backstab as well as more availability. This brings your playstyle to typically what you’ll feel in BC as they are basically the same playstyle.
Hello, as I am fully decked out in dagger gear I’ve been wondering should I stay as daggers or should I start hunting swords. From what I’ve been reading, swords seem to be superior for pve and also enables hemo spec for pvp. Also swords seem to be more comfortable to play alone (sinister striking with daggers is not really pleasant as backstabbing is not always an option). The problem is I dont usually play expose armor for my raid in AQ 40. Publicado por dragola I’m finally doing some raiding (mostly gruul’s right now) and there is a rogue in my guild who hates me and refuses to talk to me because he believes that the sword hemo spec (11/28/22) is complete garbage. So is it necessary for me to respec to combat swords? Or should I ignore him and continue to go hemo swords? But overall, I can totally see how even if the mace stun DR is not share with CS/KS, the REST of the talents in Combat are nowhere near as viable in PvP as Assassination just for sheer damage (not to mention RELIABLE damage), so if I roll a rogue, I’ll try your route of CB/Hemo rogue with swords Thanks!

Daggers is more balanced, since you can get a bit deep into combat with imp sprint/kick, allowing you to have a better chance against mages and druids. CB/Hemo can’t get any of those 2, but as Hemo you will be able to wreck dagger rogues and burst people down a lot faster, as your main cp generator is just 35 energy and you can CB evis into a big crit. Also hemo I think isn’t normalized so with slower weapons it can be better with slower weapons (not top damage but dmg per nrg). I think most theory crafting still shows that combat still wins in pve (procs and crit depending on swords or daggers) even considering no debuff limit in SOM, but if you are hemo its better to stick with hemo.

I’ve heard that when speccing Subtlety, Hemorrhage can replace Sinister Strike on a rogue’s toolbar. Especially Hemo Sword/Mace/Fist. Is this true, or just bad Optimize your rotation and cooldowns to maximize the damage of your Rogue DPS in WoW Classic, in PvE content. I mean. Hemo and Ambush? If you are not using a swap weapons macro is not worth it. Hemo goes for swords, Ambush just for daggers. Hemo with daggers is just not worth it. But that’s pretty much the standard Hemo build, ignoring the ambush talents.
Right now, I am leveling combat swords. Easily the best and most efficient lving build. I know this. Here it comes However, I absolutely love daggers. I understand it’s not as effective due to not being able to backstab consistently (and frontstabbing isn’t a thing) as the mob is always going to be facing you. I think sword hemo cb build is always strong cause you dont need any gear but relies on generating combos which feels bad into mage so learning dagger into everything just feels better imo.
