All Modpacks Take Really Long To Load Up

Are you running Mods? If I don’t have Mods enabled my load times are super fast, but when running Mods, my load times start taking longer. The more Mods I run, the slower it gets. That’s almost 15 minutes of accumulative load times before I even am playing the game. I’ve tried all the generic trouble shoots; drivers, file integrity, recommend specs (I’m above them), I don’t and haven’t touched mods, deleted mod.io anyway, nothing makes a difference. I’d say this is fairly normal. Most of the modpacks I play have fairly long load times. This is really the only pack I play that takes a fair bit to load, the others are under 2 minutes usually. It wouldn’t be so bad, but when you get those random JAVA crashes, and you gotta wait another 5-6 minutes for it to load kinda blows chunks.
Modpack Loading Time Up To 7 Minutes?
When using a modpack with quite a few mods the load speeds can take a while, especially if you don’t have a great CPU. After thinking about the process of loading the modpack I thought it was quite inefficient to have to load the mods every time on startup and then unload them when you’re clearly going to load them back up again next time you want to play. I was When i load it takes up to 20 minutes to load. My cpu is at 100% and im using quest 2 with a link cable.
Replace Canary with Radium Remove Ksyxis (it loads the world faster but the first few chunks take a long time to load) Remove Krypton (useless on To speed up tModLoader loading times, devs can optimize code, use parallelization, load mods incrementally and cache data. For example, optimizing code involves identifying performance bottlenecks and rewriting them for efficiency. Using parallelization allows for concurrent execution of tasks, like loading mods simultaneously. Incremental loading loads Even just opening the modpack doesn’t really use my cpu a lot (which is weird considering minecraft vanilla booting takes about 75% of my cpu to load instantly) and opening it takes a lot of time, more than 10 minutes.
I have around 245 mods installed, and when I load it up without optifine, it takes about 1 minute or so to finish. Once I have Optifine, it takes much longer. Godot Version 4.2 Question Recently my project has started to take a good bit of time both to load the editor and to run the project when I want to test it (several seconds to run the project, upwards of thirty to first load the editor). Is this just something that happens when projects get big? Should I start trying to optimize it somehow? The game runs fine once it’s loaded. How to Make RUST Load Faster – Loading RUST can sometimes feel slow, make sure you’ve done everything you can to speed it up!
Three weeks ago, when loading saves took over three minutes, I deleted all but the last five saves. Today, I zipped up all but the last few saves, and deleted them from the saves folder. So, I have less than ten saves right now, and it
Games of the „scope“ on Minecraft have alot that needs to be loaded beforehand. Unfortunately, unless you’re willing to invest in an SSD, one of the biggest problems with this generation is simply the inability to quickly and efficient maneuver data where it needs to be. was sitting around 4-5 minutes to load into campaign map and battles. After some optimizing i got it down to 1.5 to 3 minutes to load. Not seeing many threads on load times. Anyone else getting this? Any Tips? Yesterday I bought Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet on physical format. It was the last copy of it. So when i put into my switch, it takes about 20 sec to load. I didn’t give importance because I thought that’s from the game. But I felt afraid when I opened Rocket League and it takes the same time to open. I tried to open other games, bot physical and digital and some games takes long time
- World Generation taking too long.
- Super slow when loading saved game
- if you ask me i have a really long load time
- Opening a world takes up to 20 minutes.

CC-addicted simmers, how long does it take for your game to load?
Adding lots of mods greatly increases the amount of things you can do in the game and logically it would also increase that attention-grabbing factor as well that makes minecraft what it is. I think that is dampened by the fact that it takes so long to load a pack these days. My PC all of a sudden taking a really long time to load up games/apps (windows 11) I would say my PC is mid-high end and for the past couple of days I’ve noticed my computer becoming really slow when loading up apps or games. The PC load up time is the same as before but loading up steam or any game on there takes an extremely long
I have recently made a „Better Minecraft“ modpack server for my friends and I. Whenever I try joining the server it takes around 1 – 5 minutes. I can deal with I’ve played other large modpacks in the past that haven’t taken this long to load. Maybe Forge has a problem with dealing with some of the mods—I don’t really
Problem I have around 150 total mods loaded into both forge and fabric. I had used fabric for a while but switched over to forge recently to be able to have access to more mods. Why does it take Forge a bajillion years to load? I mean, like literally 20-30 minutes. It took fabric less than a minute to load all of the mods and everything.
Originally posted by RandomBlackTemplar: Does RTX 3060 and i7 (2.30 GHz) with ssd should took forever or endless loop to load? Having an SSD certainly helps, but it still takes time. The video card won’t help with load times per se – it just helps performance with the game engine and graphic mods. So which mod do you think should be
I was loading the HermitCraft FTB modpack on Curse, as I recently signed up for a server that uses it. I haven’t been able to play it yet, and today was going to be today, until something happened. Hi! I’m looking for a long-term Modpack to pały during free time. I tried rlcraft, but it seemed too short for me. I need a preferably very large modpack, that can still run with 16gb of RAM at like 40fps. I tried Divine Journey 2, and it was very cool. I didn’t have a single problem with it other than the loading time. But that’s to be expected from a 250+ mod Modpack.
Is there a „for dummies“ guide for doing this, and does the output take up active mod slots? My load times are outrageous. The game runs great, but load screens are often 3+ minutes, with about 10 at game launch. When I want to switch resource packs or take one off I have noticed that after I click the „Resource packs“ button my game freezes for around 10 seconds while all of my resource packs load (I have a LOT of resource packs). This is really annoying if I want to quickly swap packs mid-game, so I was wondering if there was a „quick fix
You could try looking at the logs to see if there are any particular steps that seem to take a really long time, and/or if it’s absolutely flooded with warnings or exceptions or similar. Sometimes mods are just buggy and/or incompatible with other mods. Ok, I will try to look through the first then and also the second but it’s a little problematic since I can’t really remember exactly which mods I have cleaned since after they have been cleaned they show up as entirely cleaned, unless manual cleaning is need. Also I don’t think any mod I downloaded was not „meant“ to be cleaned since then they are usually marked by a „do not Modpacks are loading extremely slow now for no reason. I didn’t make any changes to java but for some reason modpacks are taking forever to load regardless of launcher. They were loading pretty fast before, too.
My Minecraft [Bedrock] for some reason takes 10-20 minutes to load, can anyone give me some tips on how to make it go faster? Is it just me or is CK3 taking longer to load and initialise than ever before. Before the latest update it probably took 10 mins to start, today it took close to 30 mins. It’s ridiculous. My machine can handle most things and CK3 isn’t exactly a strain on graphics. Is Paradox aware of this?
Larger packs take a longer time to load and depend on your personal system specs. If it’s over 15-20S is expected for a pack around 20MB.Longer if you have lower-end specs. Look, all the mod packs mentioned so far are wonderful and long. However, if you really want a long pack, something with Gregtech. FTB Interactions and Gregtech New Horizons are two of the longest packs ever that are also extremely well done and developed. Interactions is a little less grindy but New Horizons is more grindy but longer.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? The game takes a really long time to do it’s initial load to the menu. I’ll click play and it easily takes 30-45 seconds for anything to show up on screen, when it does, it’s the cdpr logo, followed by all of the tech credits etc. and then it pauses for another 30 seconds or so until the audio catches up. Once all the audio catches up Please, anyone knows how youtubers do to load their modpacks quickly, I can’t even imagine DW20 spending 4-5 minutes just to load up his FTB pack to start to record his LP series, on my side I have a SSD drive and all my Minecraft modpacks are on it to speed up load times but I can’t understand why it takes 5 minutes to load up a modpack. I can’t even launch Greetings all. I recently fubar’d my Skyrim installed so it was time for a rebuild from the ground up. I downloaded a couple of collections, one for the basics and one graphics oriented. I’ve added a number of mods but still have less than 300. Load time from the time i start the game, to main me
My Revelation Modpack takes a little less than 7 minutes to load every time. Is there any way i can make it faster? And what causes the long loading time, ‚cause i see some people load it in 2-3 minutes. Specs: Intel i5-9300HF 2,4GHz 8GB RAM
